Plantronics makes some good ones. Another that does a very nice job at picking up voices and leaving out most background noise is the Jawbone. Julie, my girlfriend, has one of those and it does amazingly well.

For my money the ultimate, from a phone hypnosis standpoint, is still Skype. Even a bad Skype connection, when it happens, is still way more clear than a good cell phone connection. There’s also a side benefit specifically for hypnosis: when using stereo headphones, there’s a sensation of the hypnotist’s voice coming from inside the listener’s head. Use a high-quality microphone and a Skype call can be extremely pleasant and effective for the listener.
