Ellie, if I ever have that kind of cash to expend, I will guarantee that. And yes yes yes on the stress. The holidays felt much more festive when some of the “obligatory” things were removed.

You can leave me a list of any cars, houses, or stuffs you’d eventually like. You know how to find me. Might be a while before my empire expands to such riches, however.

@ Steve: I sooo know what you mean. I used to feel grateful when people would give me a wish list, but some where along the way, that has lost any joy for me. It reaches of commercialism and devoids the givers personality. So, here is to your creative pursuits. It hink it is great that you take the time to find just the right thing.

@ Shinade: Nice decorating! You know I had not even thought about decorating the blog…hmmm.

@ Jack: Hope I am one of your friends if you get filthy rich. LOL. I am also envious of the idea of just enjoying company and food at Christmas. It would remove a whole lot of stress.

Reached a point several years ago where everyone around me agreed not to exchange gifts anymore. It’s all about the food and hanging out now (I always loved the food the best). There is an exception for the little ones though (giving gifts). But most of us are grown up (21+) and so for the adults it’s a whole different holiday.

If I was filthy rich I would of course be the crazy eccentric guy that would give lavish and ridiculous gifts to all those around me. But it wouldn’t need a specific calendar day to spawn the occasion. “Hey man, it’s Thursday tomorrow” … “So?” … “So, I bought you a car, ENJOY! haaaa hahahah ha” … “Dude, you’re nuts” … “Oh yeah, well wait til you see what I got you for next Monday!”

I am in America and I went ahead and decorated my blog for Christmas already. I simply didn’t have time to get Thanksgiving up and then Christmas.

I wish I had the magic of being creative when it came time to purchase a gift.I am one that stands for hours looking over the latest gift ideas for my loved ones,and friends
trying to find that perfect gift that I know they just cannot live without.Often picking up items only to venture to put them back because I just ran across something I thought they would like better.If I could somehow find the gift of being creative for myself perhaps it would make the task so much easier.
