Putting heart-felt wishes out there IS what the law of attraction is. You put the desire oout there and the Universe fulfills it thru the path of least resistance - in this case, your partner was inspired by the Universe to get it for you. This is how law of attraction works. If your partner hadn’t followed his inspiration, you may have received it from someone else or found a particularly good deal on one when you were shopping for something else.

Pure desire, without a lot of baggage about why it can’t or won’t happen, is usually rapidly manifested. It is when we doubt, that things take longer.

I’m going to say no on this one, Ellie. Heartfelt wishes often motivate us to action, or as in your case are noticed by loved ones and motivate them to action. The so-called law of attraction is absolute bunkum. It may even be harmful, in that its peddlers preach that it’s not necessary to actually do anything to achieve one’s desires, we simply have to want or daydream and the benevolent universe will provide. Dumb luck certainly exists, but I prefer to encourage people to actually do something to realize their desires rather than waiting on the cosmos to drop it in their laps.

I think you are on the right track. I think that just putting it out there and focusing on what you want gives the universe (and other people) an idea of what you want (instead of guessing). I think that people and the world want to please but they have no idea and we think they know what we want without being so obvious. BE OBVIOUS! Put it out there. Be clear and focused.
